dog adoption mauritius A5025321 Tara | German Shepherd

A5025321 Tara is a regal 3-year-old tan-and-black female German Shepherd who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from West Covina on January 12th. Weighing 47 lbs, Tara is the perfect German Shepherd. She is attentive with her handler and has already mastered basic commands, like sit and stay. Tara is a special girl and our volunteers fell in love with her immediately. She walks well on leash, is calm and friendly, and gets along well with other dogs. Sadly, her ears are damaged at the top due to fly-strike, which means she spent a good part of her life living outside. She’s a bit underweight, but is eating well to make up for it. Tara will be a loyal addition to a family home, especially one that will take her on walks and give her the love and care she needs and deserves.
